When you are about to make cold calls, say at 10 AM on Friday morning, it is important that you are not distracted by anything on your computer. While I would argue that you should not have social media tabs open anyway, if they are, then turn them off or close them down.
Also, close Outlook. You don’t want to be distracted by incoming email messages. Remember, you need to be focused for a set period of time when you are cold calling – with no distractions.
